    Thanks Brandon!

Just a note on this download – it does not appear to have any newer drivers than what has been previously posted to Windows Update. For example, the v4.7.136.0 driver has been available on WU and auto-deployed for a while already: https://www.catalog.update.microsoft.com/ScopedViewInline.aspx?updateid=d6dac594-6e11-4466-981c-b3a90c059c1d

Can you confirm the intent of the .msi is for Enterprise OS imaging not individual machine updates?

    1. The MSI packages are intended for a variety of scenarios. Reimaging-based deployment is one such scenario, as is the scenario of updating individual devices that are unable to receive updates through Windows Update, and the scenario of deploying updates to devices in the field via MSI deployment.

Note that the date reflected in the Update Catalog does not represent the date that an update is published to the general public via Windows Update, but represents an earlier milestone when the update is not yet publically available. The updates described in this blog were released to the general public via Windows Update on 09 May and via the Microsoft Download Center as an MSI on 10 May.
