At some events last year, I demonstrated an incident “dashboard” that I had created using the cubes in the data warehouse and Excel pivot tables. I never really got around to discussing in detail how I created those though. Antoni Hanus, a Senior Premier Field Engineer here at Microsoft, has recently put up a very good step-by-step tutorial blog post on how to create dashboards using Excel.
