A couple of months ago, we had our ISV partner summit here in Redmond. Ahead of the summit, the guys at Full Armor reached out to us and said they wanted to do a demo of some integration they had done with Service Manager. Although I’ve worked with these guys off and on in the past on some cool stuff, I had no idea that they were even cooking anything up for Service Manager. Imagine my surprise when they showed this demo to me!
Here’s the deal. Policy Portal is a product that Full Armor offers that uses Windows Azure as the backend to enforce compliance settings on computers which are not managed or manageable by SCCM – think computers that are not domain joined, vendor computers that access your network resources but which are not manageable by SCCM, computers that rarely or never touch the corporate network etc – in the same way that you manage computers with SCCM. Really cool James Bond stuff. Well now they have integrated it with Service Manager and the Compliance and Risk Process Management Pack.
Check it out!
This solution is currently in Beta now. If you’d like more information or to get involved in the Beta, please contact Bob Chung (bchung [at] fullarmor [dot] com). More info on Policy Portal on their web site – http://www.fullarmor.com/products-policyportal.htm
Nice work guys!
