Bay Dynamics has been a Service Manager partner for a couple of years now and it’s been really exciting to see them rapidly develop their solution for Service Manager in the last few months. They announced the availability of their solution for IT Analytics for Service Manager last week at MMS. IT Analytics is a set of OLAP cubes that sites on top of the Service Manager data warehouse. Using these cubes, you can slice and dice the data any way you like in pivot tables, charts, etc. directly in the Service Manager console. This can really provide you some great insights into the data being aggregated by Service Manager across the System Center suite. IT Analytics also provides a way to define key performance indicators and at a glance dashboard experiences for tracking results against those KPIs.
