We’ve been putting all of our heads together here in Redmond since the Opalis acquisition announcement to figure out the best way to leverage the Opalis technology with Service Manager and the rest of System Center. Today we announced the availability of Opalis and the roadmap for integration with Service Manager on the System Center blog, but we have already been hard at work coding up the integration pieces so we can get them out there as soon as possible. Here’s the excerpt relative to Service Manager:
Today, Opalis supports integration to 3rd party tools such as BMC, CA, HP, EMC, IBM and VMware. In Q2 we will expand on interoperability capabilities with new Integration Packs for UNIX, Linux Redhat and Suse. In Q3, Integration Packs for Service Manager 2010, Configuration Manager 07 R2, VMM 2008 R2 and DPM 2010 will be made available.
We can’t wait to show you what we are working on here!
