Retirement of the Lync Connectivity Analyzer Tool

As some of you may have noticed, the Lync Connectivity Analyzer tool has been retired and is no longer available for public download.  We are interested in hearing how you used the tool, and what we could provide in the form of a tool that would better assist you in troubleshooting connectivity or sign-in issues.

Thanks,

Kris Korff, Sr. Supportability Program Manager

  1. Hi Kris, maybe good to also remove the link from https://testconnectivity.microsoft.com/?tabid=client they are still refering to Lync Connectivity Analyzer.

  2. Stephan says:

We used the tool to test connectivity and Logons from out internal remote sites.
The staff there is semi-it. So it was rather easy to use that tool.

The tool was perfect for this. So just change the Name to Skype und reissue it pleae

Thanks for the feedback. We can consider making the tool available again (with the understanding that it is no longer being managed). I’ll discuss with my colleagues and update everyone soon.
