Uninstall Instructions

Use the following Msiexec command line to automatically uninstall the Live Meeting 2007 client and the Conferencing Add-in for Microsoft Office Outlook.

Msiexec /x install.msi /qb-

where install.msi is the path and name of the original MSI file used to install the product:

  • For the Live Meeting 2007 client, the MSI file is LMCONSOLE.MSI
  • For the Conferencing Add-in for Microsoft Office Outlook, the MSI file is LMADDINPACK.MSI

/qb- will provide a basic interface with the progress bar. Information about running the Msiexec command is available at Msiexec (command-line options) in the TechNet Library.

If the original file used was an EXE file rather than MSI, the MSI file can be extracted from the EXE by using the following command:

SETUP.EXE /C /T:<full path >

where SETUP.EXE is the name of the original EXE file used to install the client or add-in and <full path> is the path to the folder into which you want the MSI to be extracted.

    Hi lawson23,

I just tried the command on the latest Live Meeting client download and it worked fine – it extracted the MSI file as expected.

Sorry you're having a problem with the file.
