Exchange SE has released KB 924334 via Microsoft Update

Exchange SE has released new updates today!

Microsoft Update is now offering V2 of KB 924334 and has expired V1 of KB 924334 on Microsoft Update. KB 911829 is only available at the download center. It will not be offered via Microsoft Update since both updates have the same set of files i.e. the package is identical except for the KB notation in them. Customers can apply either of them or both from the download center.

This new release will eliminate the requirement that the administrator notify the end users to reinstall the S/MIME control from OWA Options. After this fix, users will receive a message which will notify them to upgrade the S/MIME control. The S/MIME control will not be initialized till the user upgrades to the supported version. The user will still have the ability to send unsigned/unencrypted messages using OWA.
