New BranchCache Learning Roadmap topic in the Download Center

Hi everybody -

Just wanted to let you know that the new BranchCache Learning Roadmap topic is now available for download from the Microsoft Download Center at https://bit.ly/hckp9j.

The HTML version will be published to the Windows Server 2008 and Windows Server 2008 R2 Technical Library in the near future.

For those of you who are new to BranchCache, it is a wide area network (WAN) bandwidth optimization technology that is included in some editions of the Windows Server® 2008 R2 and Windows® 7 operating systems. To optimize WAN bandwidth, BranchCache copies content from your main office content servers and caches the content at branch office locations, allowing client computers at branch offices to access the content locally rather than over the WAN.

This learning roadmap provides you with links to prerequisite information you need in order to understand and deploy BranchCache, and also provides links to BranchCache information from level 100 to level 300. In addition there are links to optional information that will enhance your ability to expand and manage your BranchCache deployment.
