Windows 7 DNS presentation at the Seattle Windows Networking Users Group

On Wednesday, April 7, I presented a summary of updates that were made to the Domain Name System (DNS) client with Windows 7 to the Seattle Windows Networking User Group. We discussed a change to DNS devolution behavior that affects Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2, and previous operating systems also if they have an update installed. Most of the discussion centered around support in Windows 7 for DNS Security Extensions (DNSSEC) and how to configure the Name Resolution Policy Table (NRPT).

Here is my slide deck.

See Deploying DNS Security Extensions for more information about DNSSEC and the NRPT.
