Networking topics updated in November 2009 based on your feedback

In this blog post, I described how you can provide us with ratings and comments for our topics on TechNet and MSDN through the Click to Rate and Give Feedback facility.

In November 2009, the following Windows networking topics have been updated based on your comments:

· Help: Edit or delete a port exception: Windows Firewall (WF)

Updated with instructions to reset your program and port exceptions to the default settings.

· Check DNS event log

Updated with new events.

· Directory service command-line tools: Domain Name System (DNS)

Updated with instructions on how to access the Command Prompt and the command-line tools.

· Netsh Commands for Network Trace in Windows Server 2008 R2 and Windows 7

Updated with information and examples about the global level and keyword usage.

· Clear the server names cache: Domain Name System(DNS)

Updated with a technical correction in the dnscmd command line.

· Add a secondary server to a zone

Updated with missing or incomplete technical details.
