The purpose of this blog is to provide timely information about the documentation for Windows networking technologies that is produced by the networking writing team in the Windows Server User Assistance group here at Microsoft. We also want to have a channel of communication between ourselves and you, the IT professionals and developers who work with Windows networking technologies.

We intend to use this blog to do the following:

  • Describe the improvements that we are making to the IT professional and developer documentation for Windows networking
  • Share technical information about Windows networking technologies, including deployment, troubleshooting, and coding tips and tricks
  • Provide information about networking industry conferences and events of interest or that we will be attending
  • Interact with you, the Windows networking community, to determine how we can improve Windows networking documentation to help you do your job better

We expect to post entries about twice a month.
