Hey, this is Kevin Beares, Senior Community Lead for the Windows Server and System Center Group.  Over the next few weeks and months, you’ll probably hear from me a couple of times about The Windows Server 2012 Community Roadshow. We are bringing Windows Server Training to our customers and partners through our amazing Microsoft MVPs. I should also mention that this is Free Training on Windows Server 2012!!!!

Over the last two years, we have worked with our MVPs to create and deliver real world training all across the globe via a Roadshow on Windows Server 2012 and supporting products like Windows Small Business Server 2011,  Windows Small Business Server Essentials 2011, and Windows MultiPoint Server 2011. From May, 2011 through January 2012, The SMB MVP Community Roadshow hit over 60 cities worldwide and reached more than 3,000 partners and customers. Then, over the spring, we had the first leg of the The Windows Server 2012 Community Roadshow where we reached 18 countries, 55 cities and more than 4,000 customers and partners.

Now, we are beginning the second and more in-depth leg of the Windows Server 2012 Community Roadshow. We already have more than 36 MVPs from 17 countries lined up and on point to deliver in depth real world training on Windows Server 2012.

We also are locking in many more cities to deliver training. So, if you don’t see a place near you, please request it here. https://ws2012rocks.msregistration.com/CityRequest.aspx.

In this second phase of The Windows Server 2012 Community Roadshow, our MVPs will explore four technical topics. These are in no way marketing presentations. So, if you attend, we plan to expand your mind on these subjects: Server Virtualization, Managing Your Core Infrastructure, VDI and Remote Access, and Web & Application Platform. The MVPs will share demos that highlight new enhancements in Windows Server 2012 and their expertise in building private cloud, how to increase efficiency and availability, how to leverage open application and web platforms and how to provide secure access to personalized work environments from anywhere.

The Windows Server 2012 Community Roadshow continues through December. Please check the site to find a Roadshow date in a city near you. For more information on the Roadshow, to register, or to find out if there is an event coming near you, go to ws2012rocks.msregistration.com

Thanks,

Kevin Beares
