With Windows 10, version 1607 (also referred to as the Anniversary Update), we added a new section to the Get Started app specifically for IT professionals working in the enterprise called “Tips for IT Administrators.”
Our goal was to enable you to quickly access step-by-step instructions on common enterprise IT tasks, such as changing the default browser, creating a private store, and working with Windows Update for Business. In addition, you’ll also find links to popular deployment and management tools, including Remote Server Administration Tools (RSAT), the Microsoft Deployment Toolkit (MDT) and the Windows Assessment and Deployment Kit (Windows ADK).
How to access Tips for IT Administrators
To access Tips for Administrators, you must be running the Enterprise edition of Windows 10 (version 1607 or later). Then, simply:
- Launch the Get Started app. (Press the Windows logo key, search for Get Started, and press Enter.)
- Go to Browse topics and select Tips for IT administrators.
