After the Windows Intune service is upgraded to a new release, you may receive the following error message in the Windows Intune administrator console as the error message relates to the Endpoint Protection agent:
Cannot obtain the value from the computer.
This problem occurs due to a race condition that can happen because the new Windows Intune agents have not yet been installed. This race condition should resolve itself within 24 hours or as the new agents are installed. Your computer is protected during this time.
If the problem persists after 24 hours, contact Windows Intune support.
