Upgrading to the latest Windows Intune Release

Existing Windows Intune customers,

Today we announced the latest release of the Windows Intune service.  We know you’ll love the new features like Windows 8 support, System Center Configuration Manager 2012 SP1 integration and Modern Device Management features that enable IT Professionals to manage and support their devices in new and exciting ways.

With all releases there is a process to enable these new features for existing customers.  The process to enable your access to the latest features will not require any action from you.

All existing June 2012 accounts will be upgraded to the January 2013 release in February.  Two weeks prior to the upgrade you will receive a Notice Board Alert in the Windows Intune Admin Console with the exact date, time, and downtime information.

For more information please follow Windows Intune on Facebook, Twitter and the forums for further information as we get closer to February.

Thank you,

Windows Intune

Great news can't wait for the upgrade in February

  2. Hallo,

is this correct, that a new customer can use the Windows Phone 8 features only, when he pay for the "App-Hub" and buy a certificate for round about 300,- EURO?

I don't know the costs and requirement for iOS and Android at this moment, but together, there is like a summary of 500,- EURO additional "first costs" for new customers.

When i understanding the requirements true, is there any way like a "self-signing" cert for KMU / SMB?

    Thanks for your answer.

Is the "januar 2013" release the same as "wave D" and is the version number "4.0.10710.0" ?
