why do these things have to be so complicated?  Granted I don't find the steps difficult.. but who in their right f**king mind would know 59031a47-3f72-44a7-89c5 5595fe6b30ee ?? let alone that changing the 8 to a 9 should changet *THAT* one specific attribute?

Why didn't microsoft make something like TweakUI for Win 7 so that all of these little things wouldn't piss people off all the time?  Just like with file associations.. personally I don't care if I got a word doc from my best friend via email or my worst enemy .. at NO TIME do I want files from email or the internet "auto opening" when I click on them in an email or on a web page .. I wan't the default action to be the user gets prompted for "what do you want to do … open or save?"

Unfortunately I can't revert to the previous setting. Setting the Attributes Key back to original value does not make the user folder show up again. Strange! Any suggestions?

instead of educated idiots that try to prove how smart they are by making everything complicated whilst actually really proving how brain dead they are. It's what happens when one educates idiots. Billions of man hours could be saved per year if they schools adopted the kiss principal. KEEP IT SIMPLE STUPID!
