Windows Media Center Freezes Randomly When Playing DVD

On the computer which has a NVIDIA graphics card, when using Windows Media Center, a DVD playback problem occurs. If the subtitles are disabled, all DVDs play correctly without stopping playback; with subtitles enabled it freezes after a couple of minutes, pressing the play button restarts the movie from the beginning. It doesn’t happen in Media Player or other third party players.

The issue is related to NVIDIA driver.
