TN Wiki Insights: the numbers. What is the impact when you publish on the #TNWIKI?
Did you ever wonder what impact you've got when publishing on the TNWIKI?
First a bit of a recap on the public numbers and the content.
The public Wiki statistics, you can consult yourself, are on the Wiki featured (recent) articles.
Wiki Statistics
10,654 users have contributed 27,789 pages, 242,036 revisions, and 146,045 comments.
Also the Wiki tag cloud provides an overview of the (80) most popular tags. But what is behind it, in numbers?

It's a favorite ask of many Wiki Ninjas to get an insight on their articles. Unfortunately the current Wiki configuration itself does not offer a pageview on every single page. [We know it's feature request No 1. , for long time. Duly noted.]
To accommodate the insight, the Wiki platform team provided an overview of the last 1,5y (due to change in analysis tooling, earlier data is not available in current overview)
Just for clarity, this is Q4 2017, full 2018 and Q1 of 2019.

While this (rather impressive) amount of visitors is the total volume of visitors in the Wiki, we also analyse the active users, when staying longer time on a page and clicking/editing content.

Well, unlike the forum, the Wiki is a long term investment with a growing return on investment... every view is adding more points, while a forums mainly reports points for replies (and low numbers of points for a very high number of views...)

On the Wiki side, the reward on creation of articles is low, but popular articles gradually bring in more points and reputation
