Office 365 Chat Based Workspace

Microsoft teams, is the Microsoft Office 365 Chat Based Workspace, in a previous blog we took quick look into the Microsoft Teams, let dig little deeper into Microsoft Teams in this blog

What Microsoft Teams offers to you?

  • Chat for Teams, you can create teams where each team is responsible for something and
  • Hub for teamwork: where your team can get access to the information they are looking for
  • Customizable for each team: you can tailor the workspace based on your team needs
  • Secure for teams: the Microsoft Teams is secure and has the compliance features you expect from Office365.

 

How Microsoft Teams looks like?

Here is a screen shot of how the Microsoft Teams looks like

You see in this screenshots, the first tab showing the Conversation then other tab for file you add then other tab for OneNote and then Wiki tab where you can create your wiki pages for your team to collaborate and reach to the information they are looking for. You can add extra tabs to appear in your Team workspace if you click the + sign

If you press on the + plus sign to add tab you will get this window

Where you can add other links to applications for you team to access.

You can control the team members, channels for each team, etc.. from the 3 dots beside the Team Name as shown in the following screenshot.

From the left navigation bar, we can click on Chat, where  we can see guidelines about how to make calls

 

From left navigation menu you can also access the Meetings, Files.

Indeed Microsoft team is  very robust and helps makes your teams collaborate efficiently.
