=======================

What are your big projects right now?

I always look at Microsoft Certifications as the best possible way to evaluate one self’s technical knowledge and understanding of the crux of the technology. I currently hold MCPD (SharePoint 2010), MCTS (WSS 3.0, SharePoint 2007) and Microsoft Specialist – Implementing Azure Infrastructure Solutions.

My current assignments are keeping me busy with Web APIs, ASP.NET MVC and Azure cloud service’s integrations however out of interest, I am trying to get acquainted with Microsoft Bot framework and cognitive services these days. I may be writing about it in coming days and will surely post learnings on wiki. I am associated with local as well as online technical groups. I presented sessions of multiple of offerings of Azure within the organization however I want to scale it and do it for broader audience, I may plan for it later this year.

What is TechNet Wiki for? Who is it for?

I see TechNet wiki as a common platform for everyone to showcase their knowledge. It actually is a comprehensive knowledge factory and an opportunity for everyone to bring ideas or thoughts on to the table. It not only helps in learning the unknowns but also significantly helps in upskilling technical as well as writing skills.

What do you do with TechNet Wiki, and how does that fit into the rest of your job?

As I mentioned earlier, I always intend to keep myself updated with latest Microsoft technologies and Azure offerings hence whenever I am free, I always try to read content rich documents on MSDN / Azure team’s blogs or articles. It helps me to understand the latest trends as well as advancements in the technologies which I can take all the way to my active assignments and apply it there for betterment of customers.

What is it about TechNet Wiki that interests you?

TechNet wiki is such a great forum where you can start writing on something which you know and then article or content becomes rich each day with the help of other expert wiki members. This is so fascinating and exciting because you are a teacher and a leaner at the same time. Not only this, TechNet wiki is a great platform which not only helps you to learn and write on technology but also motivates you to upskill your knowledge since you are continuously getting constructive feedbacks and suggestions from other experts around like Microsoft MVPs which is a big deal in itself. I always see TechNet wiki as a democratic platform built by people and is for people.

In what other sites and communities do you contribute your technical knowledge?

Apart from TechNet wiki, I am very much active on other technical platforms like https://www.c-sharpcorner.com and my personal blog https://www.passionatetechie.blogspot.com

In free time, I also contribute on MSDN forums in Azure category.

On what Wiki articles do you spend most of your time?

Being an Azure and cloud enthusiast, I am mostly reading articles in these categories every month. There are lot of wiki members’ contributors writing and doing some cool stuff e.g. Logic Apps Integrations, Azure bot framework, Azure functions etc.

What are your favourite Wiki articles you’ve contributed?

Below are few shortlists which I enjoyed while composing and learning

Who has impressed you in the Wiki community, and why?

Of course, Microsoft MVPs have never failed to impress me, be it contributing to TechNet wiki, MSDN forums or any other platforms or evaluating monthly entries they are the ones who are always active, energetic and available to help the community with their solid technical experience. There is always so much to learn from these folks indeed actually from everyone for that matter.
