TNWiki Article Spotlight –Enabling Modern Authentication in O365

Welcome readers to TechNet Wiki Tuesday – TNWiki Article Spotlight, I hope you all would be enjoying a fine Tuesday.

Today we are going to talk about Office 365. Modern authentication in Office 365 enables you to leverage advance security features to secure the identities of user by leveraging Multi-factor authentication. With MFA, offline clients are required to have an App Password randomly generated 16-characters long which is hard to remember by end users. Modern Authentication eliminates the requirement to remember complex app password and leverage Active Directory Authentication Library (ADAL) based sign in across office apps.

The article I picked today is very well written on enabling modern authentication in Office 365.

I really liked the approach of starting with the introduction of the feature, then talking about its need and then moving towards implementation. For someone who wants to get started with Modern Authentication in Office 365 it's a great article to get started with.
