TNWiki Article Spotlight – PowerBI API in .Net

Hello and welcome everybody to our TNWiki Article Spotlight on Tuesday.

The name of the tool powering the analytics was PowerBI. During the last months Microsoft provided more and more demos which have shown how powerful it is. Sylvain PONTOREAU created an article discussing the REST API of PowerBI. It shows how you can interact with the API with REST and from .NET and Xamarin. At the end a simple, but powerful showcase is discussed providing enough information for a developer to get started.

  2. I love to see these BI Developer articles! Thanks for sharing, Jan!

  3. Thanks for all the comments. PowerBI is awesome and i have pleasure to work with this solution. It’s powerful and simple. I’m not a BI expert and i can build great reports with my actual skills, gorgeous !

In my article, it was really fun to talk about a BI solution from the developer side. I will continue to work on my little library and I hope the PowerBI team will add more features for the Rest API soon (more data manipulations could be so great !)
