Friday International Update – Updating the Language-Based Communities and Resources

In a session at the Wiki Summit, I went over the International Communities. In doing that, I realized that this page was sorely lacking all the new community resources:

TechNet Wiki Language-Based Communities and Resources

So I'm updating it! Here are the current resources available for each language:

Chinese (Simplified)

English

French

German

Italian

Persian

Portuguese / Brazil

Russian

Spanish

Turkish

Please go to the Wiki article for the latest list:

TechNet Wiki Language-Based Communities and Resources

I have two questions for you:

  1. What's missing? Go ahead and add it to the Wiki article or comment the URL below!
  2. What do you want? For example, do you want a forum for your language? A Facebook page? A blog? Add a comment below and we'll discuss it! We'll need someone to own it.

Thank you! Have a Wiki week!

  2. Durval, yes Portuguese has a very nice set of community channels! Big thanks go out to the community for building all those options!

  3. Andy, right! It wouldn’t be a blog about a Wiki if we didn’t blog about Wiki pages we updated. =^)

  4. Saeid Hasani says:

    Great summary!
    Thanks Ed for sharing! 🙂

  5. Ed, remember that there are two pages on Facebook TechNet Wiki Brazil:

    TechNet Wiki Day

    and

    TechNet Wiki Brazil : https://www.facebook.com/tnwikibrasil

  6. Alan, yes, I think I have both the Facebook pages in the list. One is a page and one is a group. Can you make sure I have them both in the listed links?

    Thanks!

This is an amazing work of International Communities, especially the Brazilian Community (and all who speak Portuguese language).
