Please find embedded above, the recording from our presentation on the TechNet Guru Competition.

This competition is all about YOU! In this presentation I try to cover some of the basics, highlight some of the achievers, and demystify some of the processes.

Ed also joins at the end to share some words of wisdom and love to those that have made this possible and popular!

Thanks again to everyone who steps forward and produces great content for us all to grow from.

Thanks too, to the judges from Microsoft, the MVPs, and the TechNet Wiki Council, who all help to choose the winners.

As explained, winning a Guru award, and being seen to consistently winning against tough competition will open new doors, higher involvement and new circles.

Also, we explain how this achievement helps towards higher awards, like MVP.

But of course the main reason so many contribute is not for real or virtual medals, but just to give something back.

Thank you again!

Best regards,
Pete Laker (XAML guy)
