Ninja Belts Improved! Thanks to Eagle Eyed Ninja Durva Ramos!

Following yesterday's post about the Updated Ninja Belts, I was contacted by legendary TNWiki Ninja Durva Ramos, who spotted a slight discrepancy with the "who has what" page.

Durva is currently Black Belt 1st Dan, and not far off 2nd Dan!

This is what he found on the "who has what" page :

...but his last TC win was 1st November 2014, after his last belt promotion, so the "Needs another" text was WRONG!!!   D:

Digging through all the code for the Belt Calculator, and the "Who has what" HTML page generator, I finally found the mistake was only with the page generator.

So the calculator was running correctly, but the "needs" HTML generator was wrong.

Here is the updated version:

I hope that is a bit clearer too.

In this case it is just a coincidence that Durva had a Top Contributor win the save day as I ran the Calculator and he won his last belt upgrade. If you look through the current winners, you'll see that isn't always the case.

Thanks to Durva for spotting the discrepancy, and good luck with those final fifteen articles!

Regards,
Pete
