Wiki Life: Smart Tags

Last week I blogged about Ownership and Credibility. In that post I talked about tagging articles that require more work, with "Needs Work", or "Work In Progress".

In the blog comments, Pituach raised an interesting point about putting a notice in the content of the article, as well as tagging it, if the article is a work in progress. His opinion is that people don't always read the comments, so by doing this, readers are clearly shown the article is incomplete. I agree, that this would be a good visual indicator.

My question here is, is this something we should be automating? For example, for certain tags, "Work in progress", "Needs work", "stub", "Needs additional information",  an automatic message is inserted into the top of the article, as per the mock screen shot below.
