Mahesh: Who are you, where are you, and what do you do? What are your specialty technologies?
Suleiman: My Name is Suleiman Shakhtour from Jordan .I am 31 years old married to my wonderful wife aseel and we have a new cute girl born called Lotus. We have recently moved to Istanbul, where I work as a Team Lead - BizTalk Consultant at VeriPark which is one of a leading companies in Turkey.
I have over 8 years of experience in development mainly in web, service and integration development, however, my journey in BizTalk started back in 2007.
I have been involved in many B2B integration mainly in the Finance Sector. I was also involved in many EAI projects with Government sector and most of my experience is focused in development.
In the last 6 years, I have been involved in a number of BizTalk projects. My responsibilities included writing POCs on how to install and configure BizTalk server in cross-platform environments and providing post project training and handover notes to BizTalk administrators. I have also ran a number of training courses in BizTalk development and administration.
During my integration projects I have worked side by side with Architects to design and implement BizTalk integration solutions. I have always enjoyed challenging projects where I can sharpen my skills and see projects successfully implemented from start to end.
Mahesh: What are your big projects right now?
Suleiman: Currently, I am working in one of the biggest projects where we will implement Enterprise Service Bus architectural pattern using ESB Toolkit.
I am really interested in Enterprise Service Bus architectural pattern and this is the time to involve and implement this pattern.
In these days,me and my team are planning to start a new BizTalk community in Turkey. We will try to introduce the benefits of BizTalk product and we may try to encourage community to involve in TechNet Wiki .
Mahesh: What is TechNet Wiki for? Who is it for?
Suleiman: TechNet Wiki is a centralized technical resource for Microsoft Products and technology where anyone, junior or expert, can share any technical topics and other can edit and enhance . You can share a technical article with images, voice records, videos and written words. The best thing in TechNet wiki that it is not a static like Microsoft documentation and blogs but it is dynamic with community interactions. Also, there are forum and code gallery which compliment TechNet Wiki articles.
Mahesh: What do you do with TechNet Wiki, and how does that fit into the rest of your job?
Suleiman: I always try to answer BizTalk forum questions and write some BizTalk TechNet Wiki technical articles.
If you are passionate about what you do, then you need to write down your notes and share your daily experiences with others.
Actually, when you contribute and try to answer questions of others you will start sharpen your knowledge and this will encourage yourself and others to ask a lot of questions and find out solutions for any upcoming scenarios or address current or upcoming challenges at your work. These contributions will help you to crystallize and focus your own thinking and this will also bring to the surface some new ideas and that will let you be ready with open eyes for any new challenges.
I believe you should try to make these contributions a habit or a hobby and you will be rewarded when you receive gratitude from others as they may be struggling to come up with solutions to issues during project implementation. I will do my best to continue my contribution from now on.
Mahesh: What are your favorite Wiki articles you've contributed?
