TNWiki Article Spotlight: Exchange 2010 Client Access Server

Hello and welcome everybody to our TNWiki Article Spotlight on Tuesday.

In this week I would like to mention an article written for Exchange, my field of interest. The article Configure Static RPC Ports on an Exchange 2010 Client Access Server has been revised by Henrik Walther 96 times and has received 45 comments. For 17 years, Henrik has been in the IT sector, and he has been studying unified communications. He has been especially sharing about Exchange Server, which you can follow from the MSExchange Website. Often there are firewall restrictions in place between the Outlook client network and the Exchange 2010 messaging infrastructure network, which requires that static RPC ports are set on each Client Access Server in a Client Access array. In addition, using static RPC ports usually reduces the memory footprint on the load balancer devices.

I would like to express my gratitude to Henrik on behalf of the Technet Wiki Ninjas for this article, which is very helpful, especially for IT professionals taking part in Exchange Server 2010 projects.

Thanks.
