Top Contributors Awards!! project Server 2013, T-SQL, BizTalk, Ninja Belts [not], C# Task Progress, Gurus and Legends!!

Welcome back for another analysis of contributions to TechNet Wiki over the last week.

First up, the weekly leader board snapshot...

Steef rockets ahead of Ed's also very impressive score!

Great scores everyone!

As always, here are the results of another weekly crawl over the updated articles feed.

 Most Revisions Award
Who has made the most individual revisions

#1  with 465 revisions over a staggering 121 articles! Make way for Steef-Jan!!!

#2 Ed Price - MSFT with 290 revisions over 174 articles! Awesome as always!

#3  with 166 revisions over 59 articles. Nice solid performance again Naomi!

 Most Articles Updated Award
Who has updated the most articles

Same names, different order for this award:

#1 Ed Price - MSFT with 174 articles

#2  with 121 articles

#3  with 59 articles

 Most Updated Article Award
Largest amount of updated content in a single article

The article to have the most change this week was Project Server 2013 - Stratégies et portefeuille de projets (fr-FR) by Hezequias Vasconcelos which is the French translation of Project Server 2013 - Strategy and Project Portfolio, also by Hezequias.

This is an awesome document "to present strategies for prioritizing the portfolio of projects in Project Server 2013" that is an essential read and bookmark, and we are eternally grateful to Hezequias for his work.

 Longest Article Award
Biggest article updated this week

This week's largest document to get some attention is T-SQL: FIFO Inventory Problem - Cost of Goods Sold by new TN Wiki Council member Naomi  N.

Although the majority of the size is due to a whole hunk of code, the article is also endowed with plenty of descriptive paragraphs, to make a well rounded article. This article is participating in the TechNet Guru Competition for July 2013, for which we should have the results tomorrow night.

 Most Revised Article Award
Article with the most revisions in a week

This week's most fiddled with article is a new arrival, BizTalk Administrator Interview Questions and Answers by the one and only Tord G.Nordahl, another new TN Wiki Council member. Ninety seven updates this last week!!

This is a fantastic follow-up to the essential and original BizTalk Administrator Interview Questions, also new from Tord. A great pair of articles we are very lucky to receive, and will no doubt be extensively used in interviews by savvy interviewers šŸ˜€

 Smallest Significant Edit Award
Size isn't everything! Every edit counts.

Ignoring the addition of tags, this week's smallest but valuable tweak was actually to Wiki Ninja Belt Status: Orange Belts by overlord , but following last week's comments, that doesn't count!

So second smallest significant tweak was the addition of a download link to Progress of a Task in C#, another new arrival by . I am pleased to say this is an entry for the TechNet Guru Contributions - August 2013, which has some fantastic entries already!

 Most Popular Article Award
Collaboration is the name of the game!

The article to be updated by the most people this week is I am pleased to say TechNet Guru Contributions - August 2013, by errrr... me! Sixteen people had a hand in it this week!

This month looks like another sensational collection of awesomeness by some regular and some new people. Keep those articles coming!

Some truly juicy contributions this week, and some amazing stats from the usual wiki heroes!

Best regards,
Pete Laker

  1. Thanks Peter for the kudos. I'll probably move up a belt before I head off to Spain/France to enjoy the sunshine. The BizTalk Administrator Interview Questions and Answers article was fiddle this by Lex Hegt, Sandro, myself and Maheshkumar S Tiwari after requests from Naomi N. and Richard Mueller for more content. So we basically almost finished it this week.

  2. The winner of the Most Revised article, Tord, is also a new member of the Wiki Community Council. Congrats to Tord, Steef-Jan, Naomi, Hezequias, and the rest!

  3. Thanks to all the community.

  4. Pete Laker says:

Updated to highlight Tord's council status. Sorry Tord, so many changes lately, overlooked your change in status. Just goes to show this is genuine crawler results, and not favouritism.

  5. 394, it seems a record, great work steef-jan!

  6. Yes, and 6 people with well over 100 activities. Must be a record week.

  7. Kudos to everyone…keep going….

  8. Note to self: Hezequias received the Achievement Gold Medal – Wiki Commenter III

  9. Still to update: Peter Geelen, Hezequias, Tord, and Peter Laker.

  10. Hi Ed,

    I believe Iā€™m now a Blue belt

  11. Sandro,

Yes!!! Because you got a gold medal that you were missing! That will pop you up two belts to Blue!

Note to self to move Sandro up to Blue. Sandro, you can move yourself if you'd like.

  12. Picking this back up… Peter Geelen…

Peter already has his 5 Top Contributor blog posts. But he earned his Wiki Commentator II medal on 8/12/13, which moved him up from the Yellow Belt to the Orange Belt. He needs the Wiki Commentator III medal to move to the Green belt. See the Green Belt
    requirements here:…/

  13. Hezequias…

Received the Gold Achievement Medal: Wiki Commentator III on 8/12/13, moving him up to Blue. Since that medal was received after this blog post, we'll stop there and see what happens in the following weeks.

  14. Tord…

This was Tord's first Top Contributor post. So he's moving to the White Belt.

  15. XAML Guy… No move. Still needs Wiki Commentator III to move from Orange to Blue.

  16. Okay. That's everyone. Moving on to the next week. =^)

  17. Pete Laker says:

Wiki Commentator III eh? 100 comments needed? No problem, I can be more social… šŸ˜€
