Now let's learn more about Sachin...

Who are you, where are you, and what do you do? What are your specialty technologies?

CAD Developer - by Profession, Windows Store and Android App Developer - by Passion.

Right here, right now in Orlando, FL,  pursuing my profession and passion as a Lead CAD Developer on 3D CAD Modeling software. My job provides me the opportunity to work on various technologies like C++/MFC, C#.Net, SQL Server, CAD APIs and Installshield.

What are your big projects right now?

At the moment, I have my fingers dipped in many pies. Professionally, I am working on support of insertion and drawing creations in 3D CAD Modeler for the new product being developed by my company.

Beyond work, my Windows Store App titled "Vocabmeter", which is a ported version of the same on Google play, was launched recently. My endeavor to migrate the same app to Windows 8.1 is full steam ahead. I actively participate on MSDN forums especially in "Building Windows Store apps with C# or VB", Technet Wiki and my own web space at www.3screator.com where I plan to host a blog in the near future...

What is TechNet Wiki for? Who is it for?

TechNet Wiki is a well planned and methodically implemented Online Knowledge Management tool for MS Technologies.  It caters to a wide spectrum of audiences, be they novices or experts in Microsoft Technologies.

What is it about TechNet Wiki that interests you?

The dimension and depth of information TechNet Wiki provides for me is impressive and of huge proportions. I keep coming back to TechNet Wiki to keep myself abreast of the latest and greatest in MS technologies.

On what Wiki articles do you spend most of your time?

The articles discussing C++, C#.Net and SQL Server catches my attention. In a way, any article in either of these technologies is where I end up spending most of my time.

What are your favorite Wiki articles you’ve contributed?

Here are few of my favorite articles so far ...

Spell Checking WinRT Component (C#, VB, HTML5/JavaScript)

Windows Store App - Basic ColorPicker Control inside Settings Pane

Finding Element in ItemsControl DataTemplate (ListView/GridView/FlipView)

Who has impressed you in the Wiki community, and why?

Without any second thought, a name which comes to my mind is Ed Price.  The reasons being many, I will name a few. His ability and drive to keep TechNet Wiki community involved  and active, his dedication, immense knowledge and excellent communication skills, are the prime ones.
