Tuesday – TNWiki Article Spotlight: The suggestion box is dead, long live the suggestion box!

As the communityninjas page on uservoice has been retired a few days ago, we will track your suggestions for Wiki content via the Wiki platform (for listing and overview) and also the Wiki forum (for feedback and voting)

Please note that we were able to transfer lots of the existing suggestions from the old suggestion box, but not all of them.
You’ll notice that some suggestions are missing.
Please visit the Wiki page and forum to add your suggestions and feedback again!

We are looking forward to your feedback!

Welcome to the TechNet Wiki content idea and community opportunity suggestion box.

Where should we tell about problems with TechNet WiKi? Say, see last post in this thread

social.technet.microsoft.com/…/- (the user explained problems he experienced (in Russian))

  3. Naomi, it seemed like it started as an issue about forums activity in the profile. What is the issue?ivity

We have a known issue I submitted about someone accidentally stealing ownership (only as far as the profile activity goes) of a Wiki article. Looks like this…

    (1) Person A creates article.

    (2) Person B edits article and accidentally steals ownership.

    (3) When the article completes milestones, those milestones show up in Person B's Profile Activity.

    (4) Person B gets the points for authoring Person A's article.

Is it like that bug? Thankfully, it's rare.

    Thanks!

No. I'll try to translate what this user is saying here: Страницы TechNet Wiki содержат код, который не обрабатывается правильно в Internet Explorer:

He is saying, that if you save WiKi article as HTML on the Desktop, you can not open it. If you save it with FireFox, it can be opened and even in IE. If you save it from IE on the Desktop as mht archive, it again can not be opened.

I haven't verified this problem as I never saved it on the Desktop.
