Top Contributors Awards! Powershell Web, Wiki info, E-Book glory, Active Directory tips & TechNet Guru… it could be you!

Welcome back for another analysis of contributions to TechNet Wiki over the last week (Fri-Sat), a day late due to technical difficulties.

Firstly, the usual weekly leader board snapshot...

Congratulations to Sandro again for continuing to top the charts this week. Mehmet still leading new articles over the last month, nice work guys.

As always, here are the results of another weekly crawl over the updated articles feed.

 Most Revisions Award
Who has made the most individual revisions

Sandro Pereira has taken the lead this week, with a jaw dropping 237 revisions over 124 articles! Wow!

The almighty and omnipresent  is in second, with 115 revisions over 76 articles!

another regular wiki ninja, returns to third this week, with 85 revisions over 10 articles.

 Most Articles Updated Award
Who has updated the most articles

A different result for this category:

#1 - Sandro Pereira with 41 articles

#2 -   with 57 articles

#3 - yottun8 - with 42 articles

 Most Updated Article Award
Largest amount of updated content in a single article

The article to have the most change this week was 2012(fa-IR) ???????? ?? ?????? ?? ??? ?????? ???? - PowerShell Web by  F.keshtkar, an excellent article about deploying Windows PowerShell Web Access.

 Longest Article Award
Biggest article updated this week

This week's largest document to get some attention is again E-Book Gallery for Microsoft Technologies by Monica Rush.

Therefore I'll also mention second longest : Active Directory On-Premises to Windows Azure Active Directory Windows PowerShell Script, an excellent contribution that "enables you to migrate your enterprise AD from purely an on-premise AD to a federated AD and linking your on-prem AD with the AD in Azure"

 Most Revised Article Award
Article with the most revisions in a week

This week's most fiddled with article is TechNet Guru Contributions - June 2013 by me!

This article is the front end of our latest competition, and has attracted record numbers of editors. Ed highlighted it's progress at the end of last week.

 Smallest Significant Edit Award
Size isn't everything! Every edit counts.

Ignoring the addition of tags, this week's smallest but valuable tweak was to Wiki: Introducción (es-ES) by yottun8. His tweak was simply to add a missing cross-link to other translated versions. An essential task that keeps the wiki stitched together, thank you yottun8!

Happy Father's day, if you're in one of the nearly 80 countries that celebrate it today!

Best regards,
Pete Laker

  6. Naomi N says:

How can I contact you personally? BTW, what is the appropriate procedure for applying corrections to these blogs?

  7. To answer Naomi's questions (which I have answered in email), is to go through me until a contact is made later. Anybody can email me blog corrections/typos or leave them as comments, and then I or the author will make the corrections. Thanks!
