Technology Tags – an idea and then a lot of contributions

Welcome to Thursday’s Community Win, where we discuss a story of how the community has come together!

Although Horizon feature the article already (TNWiki Article Spotlight – Technology Tags), I wanted to tell the story.

Since the list of tags kept getting longer, there was no way to see all the tags. So if technology tags weren’t popular enough, that made it impossible to find them in a list.

So I created this article on 12/14/12:

TechNet Wiki: Technology Tags

I stubbed it out and planned to come back and work on it. But Luigi Bruno contributed the first tags the next day, and the article has taken off!

Now the article lists 123 different tags, added through 75 different edits, and the edits were described with 65 different comments!

So thanks to Luigi and other contributors!

It's good to have such a list, so we use the same tags for articles.
