Top Contributor Awards! (Windows Server 2003, Windows System Services, Active Directory Certificate Services, Windows 8, Lync Server, Exchange Server)

Welcome to another analysis of contributions to TechNet Wiki over the last week (Fri-Sat)

Firstly, here is the customary weekly leader board screenshot:

We honour you all. Thank you for your time and knowledge.

Now for the analysis...

Most Revisions Award  Who has made the most individual revisions

The person that has saved the most revisions across all their week's article updates is Caio Vilas Boas with an ASTRONOMICAL 131 revisions over 60 articles!! Hats off to you Caio! Amazing work!

Second place is Ed Price - MSFT with another great performance of 73 revisions over 28 articles!

New in at three is Hezequias Vasconcelos 44 revisions over just 7 articles. Some good original work coming in from Hezequias.

Other "major players" with 20+ revisions this week were (highest first) yottun8, Richard Mueller, Fernando Lugão Veltem, Luigi Bruno & Luiz Henrique Lima Campos - we salute you!

Most Articles Updated Award   Who has updated the most articles

The winner this week is Caio Vilas Boas, with a mighty 60 updated articles!!

Second is Ed Price - MSFT, some way behind with an honorable 28 updated articles!

For the second week running yottun8 is close in third, with 23 updated articles!

Most Updated Article Award  Largest amount of updated content in a single article

The largest change to a document this week was the arrival of Troubleshooting System Services by Greg Marshall_MSFT.

Greg has pulled in some very relevant and useful info from an old source (Windows Server 2003 Troubleshooting Guide) and put some corrections and a modern spin on the text.

Second biggest contribution is again from Greg, Windows System Services Fundamentals lifted and modernised from another old Microsoft classic, Windows Server 2003 Managing System Services

Longest Article Award   Biggest article updated this week

The biggest (longest) documents to receive significant changes this week are the two documents above by Greg.

Coming in third and worth mentioning is the hard work by Kurt L Hudson on Active Directory Certificate Services PKI - Key Archival and Management, originally published by Dimitris Papitsis

Most Revised Article Award   Article with the most revisions in a week

The Article to receive the most revisions in just one week is Exchange Server Version and Features, originally published by Arman Obosyan.

It received 15 revisions from Satheshwaran Manoharan and Richard Mueller.

Smallest Significant Edit Award  Size isn't everything! Every edit counts.

This week's tiniest change really is a small one!

As the first and only revision to his original post, Luiz Henrique Lima Campos made one tiny change to his new article Ativar botão de hibernação no Windows 8.

Something that bugged him so much, he had to do it!

THE FULL STOP...

"No menu de aplicativos a opção de Hibernar esta desabilitada por padrão no Windows 8 , No artigo vamos mostrar como habilitar a opção."

Quickest Helping Hand Correcting each-other's work is what TNWiki is all about.

This award celebrates the act of collaboration, and highlights the fastest update of another's work.

This week's fastest updated article was Wiki: Lync Server Portal - by NextHop just 40 minutes after Richard Mueller the previous author, who himself comes in second, having updated the very same article, just 77 minutes after NextHop!

Great collaboration!

Hats off (and then quickly back on again, brrrr too cold on this side of the globe) to everyone who gave their time and passion for community contribution this week.

The stats show a real sense of mobilisation in the community lately, which is lifting us all!

Thanks for reading, please keep writing!

Best regards,
Pete Laker
