Top Contributers Weekly Awards (Excel, Azure SQL, Windows Ports & Protocols, PowerShell, Small Basic, UE-V & SkyDrive)

Welcome to another analysis of contributions to TechNet Wiki over the last week (Sat-Fri)

Firstly, the customary screenshot of the weekly leader board:

One point short of triple figures Ed!!

The following stats are created from detailed scanning of the week's updates and revisions to all TechNet Wiki Articles. It takes my web crawler up to two hours to collect and analyse.

Most Revisions Award  Who has made the most individual revisions

The person that has saved the most revisions across all their week's article updates is the Master Wiki Ninja  Ed Price - MSFT with a mind boggling 107 revisions! Ed is back, and this time he means business!

Last week's golden boy Fernando Lugão Veltem falls to second place, with an equally eye watering 87 revisions! Outstanding work Fernando!

Serhad MAKBULOGLU takes third making 43 revisions, but please read below.

So the same three names at the top, just a different order.

Most Articles Updated Award   Who has updated the most articles

The busiest bee this week is of course  Ed Price - MSFT, with 52 articles updated.

Fernando Lugão Veltem is second again, with 30 articles

Serhad MAKBULOGLU is also third, with 20 articles, but many of these updates were wrong. We do NOT add (en-US) to English article titles, we ONLY add a language tag to non-English article titles. This has also contributed to other's scores this week, as others are following up behind, removing the tag again! XD

Most Updated Article Award  Largest amount of updated content in a single article

The document that has had the largest amount of change this week is the newly arrived How to upload Excel worksheets to Azure SQL Database using SSIS , copied in from his original blog, by Derrick VanArnam [MSFT]

This is a fine and very relevant document, which is definitely worth a read.

Longest Article Award   Biggest article updated this week

The biggest (longest) document to receive significant changes this week is the fascinating (to a Windows geek) Windows Ports, Protocols, and System Services .

Ed has just been fiddling with title and tags, but this a great document to highlight, especially if you've ever had to deal with computer ports and wondered what the most commonly used ones were.

Highest Revision Award  Article with the highest revision number

This week's most fiddled with article is Windows PowerShell Survival Guide, now on a monster 428 revisions!

Serhad had wrongly added (en-US) again, but Fernando mopped up behind, removing it again.

Smallest Significant Edit Award  Size isn't everything! Every edit counts.

This week's Tiniest Tweaker is also this week's King of the Hil -  Ed Price - MSFT, editing Small Basic: How to Format a Code Block

Ed added an "a" to the title!!

Ninja!! :D

Quickest Helping Hand Correcting each-other's work is what Wiki is all about.

This new award celebrates the act of collaboration and highlights the fastest update of another's work.

This week's fastest updated article was UE-V and SkyDrive Integration Not Supported - updated within 4 minutes of the previous/original author Mark Stanfill [MSFT].

Unfortunately, it was an unnecessary (en-US) tag again, but this was corrected (removed) the next day by Mark, with an appropriate comment added:

https://social.technet.microsoft.com/wiki/contents/articles/14425.ue-v-and-skydrive-integration-not-supported/history.aspx

Thanks again to everyone who contributed, or corrected this week.

Best regards,
Pete Laker
