Friday International Update: The French!

Welcome to our Friday International Update, where we discuss what's happening outside English with TechNet Wiki!

This week I would like to comment on how the French people are performing!

When it comes to the french language I'm for one can say that every sentence sounds like it's taken from a love song, the way it's spoken is amazing. However I generally never understand a word, nor can I read it. But hey, They are doing an AMAZING job for the french Microsoft community. In many countries where English isn't the "mother language" not all people speak English, France is one of them (however we do have the french part in Canada too, not only in Europe!).

I wanted to highlight some people that have done an amazing job for the French community!

Bruno Lewin - MSFT

on of his many pages is the Wiki : Portail Technologies (fr-FR) that covers pretty much all different French articles (even links for a lot of English articles, however the heading is in French) created for the different platforms, .NET, Active Directory, BizTalk and many more! A landing page like this makes everything easier to located and the effect of the TechNet Wiki comes to the fullest and blossom like a wonderful Hawaiien flower!

 
Yagmoth555

Yagmoth555 has done many good French articles, like the one for Exchange Vue d'ensemble d'Exchange 2010 which holds a lot of create information about Exchange, its uses what it is and where to find more information.

Gokan Ozcifci

Gokan has done a lot for the french community when it comes to SharePoint, some of his articles like SharePoint 2010: HOW-TO Installation complète and SharePoint 2010: Configure SSL for a web site are very valuable to the French community!

FETHI ABASSI

Fethi has done one article that I really like it's Installation WDS et déploiement VHD sur un serveur Windows 2008 R2 avec WDSUTIL (translated into English: Installation and Deployment WDS VHD on a Windows Server 2008 R2 with WDSUTIL)

SQLAzure_Publisher

have also helped out creating a wonderful article about FAQ for SQL Azure in french, you can read it here Foire aux questions SQL Azure

I would like to thank you all for contributing not only in English but also in other languages helping us build up one location, with amazing information and valuable content for all the French speaking people using Microsoft platforms!
