Featured Wiki Article – Client Hyper-V Survival Guide

The featured article today is none other than the Client Hyper-V Survival Guide. With all the excitement surrounding the release of Windows 8 Consumer Preview, one of the most-sought after features is the addition of Hyper-V and this article was created just in time for the latest pre-release version of the Windows OS.  While Hyper-V has been included with the Server edition of Windows for some time now, Microsoft is now making it available to everyone.  As a technophile, I like to try out as many of the new technologies as I can.   Whenever a technology this powerful is released and I am not familiar with it, I typically have a few questions:

  1. What is required to take advantage of this technology?
  2. Why do I need it and what can it do for me?
  3. How do I get/install it?

Lucky for us, Tony Soper has answered all of those questions and more in this week's featured article!  Tony has been almost a one-man wrecking ball on this article with 31 revisions. Craig Lussier also dropped by to update some of the tags to reflect that the article can also apply to Windows Server 8 Beta.  I'm sure this is one of the hottest and most-viewed articles in the past two weeks.
