An evolution in perftune content

IT Pros love acronyms and jargon because of the efficiency they bring to comms (communications). Perftune is the jargon for performance tuning, which is also sometimes called

…because the brutally honest and technically correct answer to the question is “it depends.” Your specific hardware, network and workload characteristics are all complex variables that make the test matrix for optimization unmanageably large.

Consequently, most content creators either make the highest level recommendations possible, such as “Step 1. Update all drivers and software”, or, they pick one combination of hardware, network and workload constraints and deep dive on that.

Wouldn’t it be great if there was one web resource that brought together all the best practice advice and resources on perftuning, that was updateable with new information and not-yet-covered stacks and scenarios?
