Official Retirement of the Configuration Manager Writers Blog

This blog is now officially retired.

No new posts will be published on this blog but the old posts will remain available as archives – we continue to hear from customers who tell us that they find the posts helpful (particularly the posts for configuring native mode).

Since January 2009, the writing team has joined forces with the Configuration Manager product group and we now publish documentation announcements and additional information to the System Center Configuration Manager Team blog. For customers who were used to monitoring our blog, we provided round-up posts for a transition period. Initially published every month, we decreased the frequently of these round-up posts and the last one was now five months ago without any comment from customers. We’ve never been a fan of blogging for the sake of it, so it’s time to retire this blog.

If you have feedback about the documentation or any of our blog posts, we would love to hear from you. Send an email to SMSDocs@Microsoft.com.

To receive Twitter feeds for new blog posts from the documentation team, see Configuration Manager Documentation Team Twitter feed.

Thank you to everybody who has supported this blog and sent us feedback and comments.
