Configuration Manager Has Left The Building!

Yes, It's official! Configuration Manager 2007 has released to market! And, the writing team has flipped the switch on our updated web content which you will be able to access from the Configuration Manager TechCenter within the next day or two: https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/default.aspx

I'm very proud of the Configuration Manager writing team and what they've accomplished (often against the odds). We've worked very hard to give you all the content you need to be successful with the product. Configuration Manager is an exciting release, and we are proud to be contributing to its success.

Some stats: ~975K words; 65% is new or updated content; 25% is focused specifically on procedural "how to" topics of the we've been posting here and in other forums like www.myitforum.com.

We've traditionally had a great working relationship with the Configuration Manager product team and its management team. With such strong management support, we'll continue to innovate. For example, we've reworked the Superflows significantly based on the feedback we got from all you folks at MMS and the format and usability is looking very slick. We expect to begin publishing these in earnest over the next couple months.

Finally, we could not do what we do without the support of everyone in the community. Your feedback, reviews, and suggestions are truly appreciated especially because it helps us to write to your needs, not our assumptions. So kudos to you and everyone in the management community. This content is great because of all our efforts. We all own it!

Cheers!

Steve Kaczmarek
