For those waiting to update their SQL Server 2008 RTM CU4 instances to SP1 without losing their CU4 fixes, the new Cumulative Update Package 1 for SQL Server 2008 Service Pack 1, available for download here, includes these fixes.

You must apply SQL Server 2008 Service Pack 1 before you apply this Cumulative Update Package.
