Research Begets Enlightenment: The SSMA Downloads

This time, it was me asking the question, on behalf of one of my classmates in BI training this week:

Is anyone aware of an automated Access-SQL to TSQL conversion tool for stored procedures?

Frankie answered:

You can try SSMA for Access. https://www.microsoft.com/sql/solutions/migration/access/default.mspx

After checking out the link, I discovered that "SSMA" stands for **S**QL **S**erver **M**igration **A**ssistant. Not only is there a SSMA version for Access, but there are also versions for Sybase, Informix (for SQL Server 2000), and Oracle.

If you've got Access conversion issues, be sure to check out these resources!
