Redmond Raiders Update: Moses Lake, Here They Come!

A brief update for those of you interested in Babe Ruth basball:

Kyle's team, the Redmond Raiders, won the District 3 All-Star Tournament, sweeping three games without a loss. The team will be the 3A representative to the state tournament, which starts on July 12 in Moses Lake, WA.

The boys won two exciting one-run games on Saturday, guaranteeing themselves a trip east. The issue in Sunday's game was seeding (I never knew that "3A" meant first place finisher and "3B" meant second place finisher; you learn something new every day); and our guys broke open a close game late; the final score was 7-1.
