Microsoft Virtualization User Group - January 2009 Meeting (MS Victoria)

In case you are not aware, the MVUG January 2009 meeting is coming around on the on the 29th January 2009, this time at the Microsoft offices at Victoria, London (https://download.microsoft.com/documents/uk/about/downloads/victoria_map.pdf).

Once again, some really exciting sessions, we will start off with two real-world presentations from our community members, one on Hyper-V and the other on App-V. Finally we will take a deep dive into the App-V architecture.

· 6.15pm – 6.45pm – Case Study: Hyper-V RDP Deployment at Slough Borough (Simon Cleland Unisys & Colin Power – SBC)

· 6.45pm – 19:30pm – Application Virtualisation – what is App-V? (Aaron Parker – Community Presentation)

· 7.30pm – 8.00pm – Break

· 8.00pm – 9.15pm – Application Virtualisation – in-depth look at App-V Architecture (Justin Zarb - Microsoft)

· 9.15pm – 9.00pm – Q/A plus wrap up
