Back to work for many of us I expect.  Reflecting over Christmas television, something that I now take for granted is the Royal Institution Christmas Lectures.  Have grown up with these programmes over the years it was great to see an excellent series being delivered on computing.  Not only on computing but being delivered by one of our own Chris Bishop from Microsoft Research.

 

If only all my schooling could have been delivered this way! Anyway, its amazing how much in computing there is still to learn.  If you are in the UK you can still catch them on Five Demand TV service here.  Continuing on the surface theme there is a Surface spot in episode 2
