Citrix Ardence – Virtualisation but not as we know it!

One of the great things about coming to TechEd (Which is where I currently am!) is seeing some great new technologies from the field. I remember looking into this product before Citrix came along and purchased the organisation.

If you don’t know what I am talking about…its “Ardence”. The product streams full rich featured Operation Systems such as Windows XP and Windows Vista to devices that do NOT have hard disks.

I saw this Video at TechEd, did a live search and wanted to show you all!

Its a pretty great demo, having the ability to stream individual Operating systems over a 100mb LAN. The Citrix Stand at Tech Ed has been very entertaining and had some good information about the product set.

I will do a write up before the end of TechEd with some other new cool Virtualisation products! If you want to meet up, come to the Windows Server 2008 TCL section and say hi!!
