Blue Cross and Blue Shield (BCBSVT) of Vermont, the state’s oldest and largest health insurer, needed to reverse a five-year decline in revenue and market share. Between 2005 and 2010 the company saw market share drop by 50 percent. The recession didn’t help, but the factors weren’t all external. The management realized change was needed and worked with VUE Software to implement a system to streamline their marketing and sales operations and boost productivity. The results are a real point of pride for us. Outbound calling grew 900 percent, and the success rate for those calls has increased markedly. It’s been less than a year since the project went live and revenues are up 10 percent and market share has increased for the first time in five years.
Over the last few months we’ve been working with BCBSVT to document this incredible turnaround and will be releasing a full case study on our June 21st webcast, visit www.vuesoftware.com/webcast or our display in the Microsoft booth (#403) at the ACORD LOMA show in San Diego starting May 22nd for more information.
