An Evening of Innovation...

Last week financial services media and analysts experienced the latest technology solutions for banking, capital markets and insurance companies. During the inaugural Financial Services Technology Showcase, hosted at the Microsoft New York City office, Colleen Healy, general manager, Financial Services Group at Microsoft, discussed four trends that Microsoft currently sees for the financial services industry: the cloud, sales and service, business intelligence and risk mitigation. With technology at the heart of his organization's positive transition, Stanley Young, CEO, NYSE Technologies, then highlighted NYSE's plans to accelerate the building of its global trading network, noting that Microsoft will be a core partner in this initiative.

Attendees mingled with key Microsoft partners and executives, and experienced demos illustrating the four trends introduced by Colleen.
