Azure Hybrid Use Benefit now available directly in the Azure Management Portal

In case you missed the news from a couple weeks back, I wanted to highlight the fact that you can now activate your Azure Hybrid Use Benefit directly in the Azure Management Portal.  If you’re not already familiar with Azure Hybrid Use Benefit, it is a fantastic benefit that helps you get the most value from licenses on-premises and in the cloud by letting you use your Windows Server licenses with Software Assurance for virtual machines in Azure at the base compute rate, resulting in up to 40 percent savings.

To make leveraging your hybrid use benefits even easier, it was recently announced that you can now activate Azure Hybrid Use Benefit directly from within the Azure Management Portal when creating new virtual machines or when using Azure Site Recovery (ASR) to create virtual machines for migration or DR.  Please take a look at this video which does an outstanding job describing the Azure Hybrid Use Benefit as well as demoing the exact scenarios that are now supported via the Azure Management Portal UI.
